ఓవర్సీస్ లో మన తెలుగు సినిమాలకు ఎంత మంచి కలెక్షన్స్ వచ్చిన మనకన్నా ఎక్కువగా బాలీవుడ్ సినిమాలకు వస్తుంటాయి. కానీ మొదటిసారి ఓ తెలుగు సినిమా బాలీవుడ్ హిట్ మూవీ ప్రీమియర్ షోస్ కలెక్షన్స్ ని బ్రేక్ చేసింది. ఆ సినిమానే మహేష్ బాబు నటించిన ‘ఆగడు’. ఆగడు సినిమా ఓవర్సీస్ ప్రీమియర్స్ షోస్ తో రికార్డ్ కలెక్షన్స్ సాధించిందని ఇది వరకూ తెలియజేశాము.
తాజాగా మాకు అందిన ఓవర్సీస్ పూర్తి కలెక్షన్స్ రిపోర్ట్ ప్రకారం ఆగడు ఓవర్సీస్ ప్రీమియర్ షోస్ వరకే 5.81 లక్షల యుఎస్ డాలర్స్ కలెక్ట్ చేసింది. ఇప్పటి వరకూ సల్మాన్ ఖాన్ నటించిన ‘కిక్’ సినిమా ప్రీమియర్ షోస్ పరంగా రికార్డ్ కలెక్షన్స్ సాధించింది. కానీ నిన్నటితో ఆగడు సినిమా ఆ రికార్డ్స్ ని బ్రేక్ చేసి యుఎస్ లో తెలుగు సినిమా స్టామినాని చాటింది.
మహేష్ బాబు డిఫరెంట్ స్టైల్ నటన, తమన్నా గ్లామర్, శ్రీను వైట్ల మార్క్ కామెడీ ఈ సినిమాకి చాలా హెల్ప్ అయ్యింది. ఆగడు ఒక్క ఓవర్సీస్ లోనే కాకుండా ఇక్కడ కూడా భారీ కలెక్షన్స్ ని రాబట్టుకుంటోంది.
Mahesh Babu’s Aagadu has opened to some bumper collections all over and has raked in record collections. The film opened in nearly 160 screens in the US, and collected close to 5,81,000 dollars from only the premiere shows which is a record for any Indian film. The previous record was held by Salman Khan’s Kick which was the remake of the Telugu flick with the same name.
Mahesh Babu’s stardom and massive publicity is the main cause for these collections. Even in India, collections have been strong and crowds are immensely loving this family entertainer. Tamannah is paired opposite Mahesh in this family entertainer which is produced by 14 Reels.
