సూపర్ స్టార్ మహేష్ బాబు హీరోగా, మిల్క్ బ్యూటీ తమన్నా హీరోయిన్ గా రూపొందిన మాస్ ఎంటర్టైనర్ 'ఆగడు'. షూటింగ్ పూర్తి చేసుకొని ప్రస్తుతం పోస్ట్ ప్రొడక్షన్ కార్యక్రమాలు చివరి దశలో ఉన్న ఈ సినిమాని సెప్టెంబర్ 19న గ్రాండ్ గా రిలీజ్ చేయనున్నారు. 14 రీల్స్ ఎంటర్టైన్మెంట్ వారు నిర్మించిన ఈ సినిమాని ఎరోస్ ఇంటర్నేషనల్ మీడియా వారు రిలీజ్ చేయనున్నారు.
ఎరోస్ ఇంటర్నేషనల్ వారు ప్రకటించిన తాజా ప్రకటనలో ఆగడు ప్రొడక్షన్ మరియు డిస్ట్రిబ్యూషన్ సంస్థ యైన 14 రీల్స్ ఎంటర్టైన్మెంట్ తో కలిసి ఎరోస్ ఇంటర్నేషనల్ మీడియా ద్వారా ఆగడు ని రిలీజ్ చేయనున్నాం. సౌత్ ఇండియాలోని నాలుగు భాషల్లో కలిపి 2000 థియేటర్స్ లో రిలీజ్ చేయనున్నాం. ఇకపై ఎరోస్ సౌత్ ఇండియన్ ఫిల్మ్స్ పై పోకస్ పెట్టనుందని, అందులో భాగంగా ఇప్పటికే తమిళ స్టార్ విజయ్ 'కత్తి' ఆడియో రైట్స్ తీసుకున్నామని ప్రకటించింది.
కేవలం సౌత్ ఇండియాలోనే 2000 థియేటర్స్ లో రిలీజ్ అయితే మిగతా అన్ని ఏరియాల్లో కలుపుకుంటే ఇంకో 200పైగా థియేటర్స్ పెరిగే అవకాశం ఉంది. కావున 'ఆగడు'కి ఓపెనింగ్ కలెక్షన్స్ రికార్డ్ స్థాయిలో వస్తుందని ఆశించవచ్చు. శ్రీను వైట్ల దర్శకత్వం వహించిన ఈ సినిమాకి తమన్ మ్యూజిక్ అందించాడు.
